TenAsys, the Real-time Virtualization Experts

TenAsys was founded more than a decade ago to focus on providing real-time software technology to embedded system developers worldwide. From our corporate inception, we understood the value of combining the flexibility of a general-purpose operating system (GPOS) such as Windows® with the determinism and responsiveness of a real-time operating system (RTOS) on the same computing platform. Through this technical vision, the concept of embedded virtualization was born.

Members of our engineering staff were on the team that pioneered the development of RTOS software at Intel. The INtime® for Windows software that they have perfected incorporates real-time technology that has been proven through over a quarter-century of use in mission-critical systems in fields as diverse as medical electronics, telecommunications, industrial control, robotics, test and measurement, and military applications.

With this experience, it was natural for TenAsys to take the lead in the development of real-time, embedded virtualization solutions for other RTOS environments as well. And so, eVM™ for Windows® was born.

Our close ties to Intel technology have enabled us to make optimal use of the virtualization support that Intel builds into its processors to reduce system costs while delivering maximum performance and highest reliability to embedded applications worldwide.
