TenAsys Provides Embedded Web Server Support to Real-time Products

Seoul, Korea (Microsoft Windows Embedded Developers Conference) - Jan 22, 2003 - TenAsys Corporation, supplier of real-time operating system technology for 32-bit IA platforms, today announces availability of embedded web server resources for dedicated PCs and custom x86 based hardware solutions. Using the popular open source GoAhead WebServer™ product from GoAhead Software, Inc. This resource leverages a common code base for TenAsys products including INtime real time extensions to Windows, iRMX, and iRMX for Windows, allowing for maximum code portability across all product lines.

Having a portable web server code embedded into real time applications provides an easy remote management and data collections framework to exist using simple TCP/IP and web based tools. Built on a standard server base, remote management tools include FTP and Telnet, with data gathering support using standard ASP and CGI based web services. Demonstrations of the WebServer port to INtime are being conducted on the exhibition floor of the Microsoft Windows Embedded Developers Conference this week in Seoul, Korea.
